Driving Global Impact Through Collaboration: NGI Sargasso and Dynaccurate Launch Cross-Dissemination Partnership

NGI Sargasso is pleased to announce one more strategic collaboration, in this occasion with Dynaccurate SARL, a cutting-edge technology and consulting firm specialised in Artificial Intelligence, Blockchain, and Knowledge Graphs. This partnership focuses on cross-dissemination and outreach activities that will amplify the impact of both organisations within the transatlantic Next Generation Internet (NGI) ecosystem.

NGI Sargasso is dedicated to fostering a collaborative EU-USA and EU-Canada innovation ecosystem, accelerating technology breakthroughs and contributing to the development of an Internet that prioritizes openness, inclusivity, and user empowerment. Our partnership with Dynaccurate aligns seamlessly with this mission, as we work together to shape a more human-centric and commons-based digital future.

Dynaccurate is the European counterpart of the NGI Sargasso Innovator selected in our Open Call 4 "MDIP: Medications Data Interoperability Project". The Medications Data Interoperability Project intends to provide a ‘single source of truth’ for medications data internationally by using a future-proof data architecture incorporating AI, ontologies and blockchain, enriched by pharmacogenomic data (PGx), to improve patient safety globally. The Canadian partner of this project is Pillcheck Inc, a company providing pharmacogenomic services since 2017, helping individuals and their healthcare providers choose the right medications to feel better sooner.

Their commitment to both proprietary and open-source solutions reflects the open innovation ethos that drives NGI Sargasso. Through this collaboration, NGI Sargasso and Dynaccurate will:

  • Jointly promote impactful research and technologies and services on Next Generation Internet.
  • Co-develop content to inspire a broader audience of researchers, technologists, and policymakers across the Atlantic.
  • Participate in outreach activities, including workshops, webinars, and digital campaigns of common relevance.

Dynaccurate: The Future of Clinical Applications

Dynaccurate is a Luxembourg-based technology and consulting company focused on Chemotherapy, Medications Management, Electronic Patient Record, Terminology Management, and AI and Blockchain Consent Management, offering both proprietary and open-source solutions that enable smarter, more interoperable digital systems across sectors.

The team behind it is formed by a group of health informatics experts working on technology that began in a series of campus research projects. Their vision is a world where patient data is accurate, easily managed, and accessible to the clinician, patient and researcher from the same source.

NGI Sargasso and PQ‑REACT: Forging Synergy to Boost Quantum Technologies in Europe and North America

With the aim of amplifying our impact and fostering innovation in digital security and networking, at NGI Sargasso we have forged a new collaboration with another Horizon Europe‑funded initiative: PQ‑REACT, Post Quantum Cryptography Framework for Energy Aware Contexts, a project working on framework design, development, and validation for a faster and smoother transition from classical to post-quantum cryptography.

Since we also boost quantum technologies through three of our NGI Sargasso Innovators, we have embarked on a collaborative outreach and cross‑promotion partnership with PQ-REACT, the latest member of the NGI Sargasso InnoConnect Hub.

PQ‑REACT, coordinated by NCSR Demokritos, focuses on enabling the smooth transition from classical to post‑quantum cryptography (PQC). It provides a migration framework featuring cryptographic agility, validation tools, and pilot demonstrations across domains such as smart grids, 5G networks, and distributed ledger systems.

Recognizing the complementary nature of our objectives, one promoting human‑centric Internet ecosystems and the other safeguarding them against quantum threats, the two projects have formalized a partnership. The collaboration will feature mutual visibility and research dissemination across communication channels, such as the projects' website, newsletters and social media, enabling each project to extend its reach into the other’s stakeholder networks.

This joint effort not only augments the reach and impact of both initiatives but also exemplifies a holistic approach to securing the Internet of tomorrow, advancing both its openness and resilience. By weaving together NGI innovation pathways with quantum‑safe infrastructure, the partnership stands to empower a more inclusive, trustworthy, and future‑proof digital ecosystem across Europe and its Transatlantic partners.

The PQ-REACT partners

PQ-REACT: Post Quantum Cryptography Framework for Energy Aware Contexts

The PQ-REACT project aims to design, build, and validate a framework for a quicker and more effortless shift from classical to post-quantum cryptography for various contexts and usage domains. This framework will include cryptographic agility techniques, PQC migration paths, and a toolkit for validating post-quantum cryptographic systems, enabling users to switch to post-quantum cryptography while considering their unique circumstances and preferences.

The project’s focus is not merely academic; it aims to tackle the practical complexities involved in transitioning from classical cryptographic systems to quantum-resistant ones. Given the pervasive use of public key cryptography in contemporary digital infrastructure, PQ-REACT seeks to forge a robust pathway for the industry’s shift to post-quantum cryptographic systems. That is why PQ-REACT fosters a series of open calls for SMEs and other stakeholders to bring and test their PQC algorithms and external pilots on the PQ-REACT framework.

Funded by the European Union, a team of 12 distinct but highly experienced organizations form the PQ-REACT consortium in order to address the challenges of post quantum cryptography coordinated by the NCSR Demokritos: Fraunhofer FOKUS, Sant'Anna School of Advanced Studies, Universidad Politécnica de Madrid, Hellenic Mediterranean University, AGH University of Krakow, BDI, Indra, Telefónica, AUSTRALO, Sploro, and SmartLex.

Empowering Digital Inclusion: NGI Sargasso Partners with Simeon

NGI Sargasso is happy to announce a new partnership with Simeon, one of our NGI Sargasso Innovators focused on empowering older adults through trusted digital credentials. This collaboration has been signed through a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) allowing Simeon to become a member of the NGI Sargasso InnoConnect Hub.

Both projects will provide visibility to each other's outreach activities around efforts and contributions to ICT Standards to our extensive network of stakeholder communities and through our main digital outlets. Participation at any webinars or events of mutual interest to keep boosting digital innovation for Next Generation Internet (NGI) technologies and services across continents is also considered as part of the agreement.

By supporting projects like Simeon, NGI Sargasso is enabling practical innovations with meaningful societal impact, helping ensure that the next generation of internet technologies leaves no one behind. Outcomes of the collaboration will contribute to the broader NGI ecosystem and serve as a blueprint for inclusive digital transformation.

Simeon: Facilitating Verifiable Credentials Presentation Across Borders

Simeon, supported under the NGI Sargasso OnCampus Program, is working to make digital services more accessible and secure for seniors by developing verifiable credential solutions tailored to their needs. The project addresses a growing digital divide affecting older populations, who often face challenges in accessing digital services due to complex identity systems, privacy concerns, or a lack of digital literacy. Simeon is a result of the NGI Sargasso Innovator from our Open Call 3 FVCP: Facilitate Verifiable Credentials Presentation across borders, led by Julien Bringer, CEO at Kallistech, and partnered by Identity Woman in Business. Kallistech was previously selected in our first open call with the project D3ICA: Democratizing Decentralized Digital Identity through Cloud Agents, partnered by the Canadian organization Bluink.

This collaboration marks a significant step in advancing NGI Sargasso’s mission to strengthen EU–US–Canada cooperation on technologies that prioritize privacy, inclusivity, and human-centric design. Simeon brings together experts in identity management, user experience, and digital ethics from both sides of the Atlantic to co-create solutions that not only meet technical standards but also reflect the lived experiences of older adults.
