Project Overview
TruPS (Trustworthy Participatory Systems) tackles misinformation, distrust, and lack of transparency in digital public discourse by developing a trustworthiness assessment system for online civic participation platforms. The system evaluates content, behavior, and context to assess the trust level of participants and contributions, supporting decision-makers with transparent metrics and fostering healthy public debate. The project focused on a prototype system integrating participatory platforms with AI-based analysis and ethical oversight.
